Andre Balazs hosted an intimate affair at the Raleigh Ballroom in Miami last night for the launch of Bob Colacello's latest ode to days gone by, "OUT." Taking a moment out from signing books, Colacello waxed lyrical on his love of Art Basel. "This event is the closest thing we have to the seventies! There is black, white, gay, straight, Latino, and Asian all together and having a wild time." Getting in some QT with Colacello was Yvonne Force Villareal, who was floating around in a Michael Kors jewel-cuffed caftan. "I'm heading to Calvin Klein's house for dinner with Bob and the gang for something low-key. I can't stay out for long, since I have to sell my towels by the Raleigh pool all day tomorrow!" she told us, referring to the latest Works on Whatever project, which consists of towels printed with artwork by Kehinde Wiley, Elizabeth Peyton, Cindy Sherman, and Jeff Koons. From a party for a book about the seventies to a dinner chez Calvin? Now that's bringing the night full circle.
