Victoria's visit

A big highlight to my sojourn in the Cambridge area was a visit with my good friend Victoria.
She lives in Imola, Italy currently with her husband and two children.
Last time I saw her was when I was in London with Jorgen three years ago.

We toyed with me meeting her in Imola but she decided to head back home to spend some time with her family.
On Friday morning we met in Cambridge and toured around the town. Had a lovely lunch and strolled little Isabelle around the colleges and high street.
In the afternoon we took a beautiful drive through the countryside while Izzy passed out.
We arrived back to her parents home in Mepal around 5pm in time for tea. We chilled for a bit before Vic and her dad started preparing dinner while I played with the family dog, Zulu.

Dinner was lovely and we managed to clear a couple of bottles of wine. But the fun ended early. We had to take Victoria to the airport at 4:30am so we all headed to bed at 10:30!

A short but sweet reunion.
